Another month, another batch of job titles that most people would never think to search for.

I do realize that I am posting this a little earlier in the month than usual. However, I’m pretty sure we have all seen the giant snow and ice storm forecasted for this weekend in the US. Since I live in the Southeast, I have no idea if I will lose power, and for how long. I’m trying to be proactive.

Now, on to the jobs.

These are real postings I found that stood out because they’re so different from traditional bedside, retail, or hospital-based roles. If you’re trying to pivot out of clinical work, sometimes the hardest part is just knowing what to type into the search bar, and that’s where this list helps.

This month’s roundup includes a little bit of everything: oncology, clinical trials, infection prevention, informatics, radiology, lab/transfusion medicine, and even a few remote healthcare support roles that could be a great fit if you’re looking for a fully work-from-home option.

Not every job here will be a match for everyone, but almost all of them prove that your clinical background, certifications, and healthcare knowledge still have value, even if you never want to work directly with patients again.

These posts also help show what companies are looking for in an employee. Even if you don’t currently have the experience needed for these roles, you’ll know what to focus on building so you can become a stronger candidate in the future. And sign up for their emails! If you aren’t a good candidate now or you live in the wrong geography, that doesn’t mean you won’t be the perfect candidate in the perfect location in the future.
